Youth Recreational Rowing
Youth Non-Racing Opportunities
At Austin Rowing Club, we are committed to the development of boys and girls in the sport of rowing. Our Junior Non-Racing Novice program offers great opportunities for younger athletes to learn how to row, continue the development of their rowing and athletic skills, and experience this amazing sport in a less time-consuming and demanding way than a competitive, racing program.
Rowing is the ultimate team sport! In the process of learning to row, kids will develop their group communication skills, as well as learn assertiveness and confidence.
In addition to non-racing team opportunities, we offer summer camps for individuals to bring friends, make new ones, and get out on the water with less commitment than a full Spring or Fall Season.
