Texas State Rowing Championships

Historically, the Texas State Rowing Championships took place on Lady Bird Lake at Festival Beach Park. This 1,000 meter event feautured a seven-lane, fully-buoyed race course and was open to Junior and Master entries. The regatta has since only been open to junior crews.

Junior Crews

Texas State Rowing Championships, a USRowing registered regatta, is a two day event open to junior crews across the state of Texas and is the principal regatta in a series of events that determine the best high school rowers in Texas. Following this regatta, qualified Juniors move on to compete at the Central District Youth Rowing Championship, where Junior teams compete for a chance to race at the USRowing Youth National Championships. All entries in junior events must be crews from the state of Texas. Entries in masters events may be from any state – but junior Championship titles will only be awarded to Texas crews.

 

2023 Race Information

The 2023 Texas State Rowing Championships for Junior crews will be located on Tradinghouse Lake in Waco, Texas, which will allow Juniors to race a 2K course prior to Regionals and Nationals.
