Winter Warrior
The Winter Warrior is an inner-club regatta held annually on Lady Bird Lake. This 8,000(ish) meter time trial race begins at Redbud Island at the far western end of Lady Bird Lake and finishes at Bird Island at the far eastern end of Lady Bird Lake. Known to local rowers as the “dam-to-dam” row, this annual event has been rescheduled to provide ARC rowers a fun challenge after fall head race season and before winter training starts for the spring sprints.
Winter Warrior 2023
We had a great time at Winter Warrior 2023! This year, there were 16 entries, covering most boat classes from singles to 8+. We had participation from club rowers, club crews, and masters racing team!
