Junior Rowing Camps
Junior Intro to Rowing 2025
Austin Rowing Club would like to welcome everyone to our 2 week Jr Row to Race Camp! Starting on June 2nd, we are opening our doors to all new rowers grades 7-12th.
Our intro to rowing camps are 2 week long day camps that run from 9:30-12:00 each day.
We teach the basics of rowing in 4 and 8 person boats, and conclude each camp with a mini-regatta that we welcome parents to come watch.
These camps are a great way to try rowing out! No prior rowing experience is necessary.
Rowers that complete a summer camp and want to continue rowing are welcome to enter our main juniors program in the fall.
Come on down this summer to learn more about the fastest growing sport in the country.

Sent my 2 boys 12yr, 15yr to the 2 week rowing summer camp. The 12yr old did a 1 week camp at TRC prior. Here at ARC they had a mini regatta at the end to show off their skills to the family. Fun!
They really liked it. It was clear on the first day that ARC was different. They really focused on producing kids that like the sport. The structure, the “purpose” to the camp, and the team dynamic really helped my boys. Everyone has a clear role and the team can’t do well with someone on the ball.
We plan on continuing with rowing this year, including me!
