About the Event
Experience Austin’s most iconic Independence Day celebration from the water! Join Austin Rowing Club for a special after-hours paddle on Lady Bird Lake during Austin’s annual 4th of July festivities. Reserve a Single Kayak, Tandem Kayak, or Paddleboard and enjoy incredible skyline views, the sounds of the live Austin Symphony performance from Auditorium Shores, and a front-row seat to the fireworks show over downtown Austin.
This unforgettable nighttime experience combines music, fireworks, and paddling into one of the most unique ways to celebrate the holiday in Austin.
Event Schedule
Check-in begins at 7:00 PM.
All guests must arrive and be checked in no later than 8:30 PM. Reservations that have not checked in by 8:30 PM may be released to guests on the waiting list. Refunds will not be issued for late arrivals or missed launches.
On the Water
Guests will launch after check-in and enjoy an evening paddle on Lady Bird Lake throughout the Austin Symphony concert and fireworks display. Music begins at 8:30PM and the Fireworks begin at 9:30PM
Reservations
$90 – Single Kayak
$150 – Double Kayak
$85 – SUP
Each ticket includes:
- Glow Stick
- Bottled Water
- Waterproof Phone Pouch
All reservations for the 4th of July Firework Night Paddle are subject to the following cancellation policy:
- To receive a refund, cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to the scheduled event start time.
- Cancellations made within 72 hours of the event are non-refundable.
- If the event is canceled by Austin Rowing Club due to weather, unsafe conditions, or other circumstances beyond our control, guests will receive an ARC Gift Card for the full value of their reservation. No refunds will be issued for weather-related cancellations.
- Gift cards issued for weather cancellations may be used toward any future ARC program, rental, or event.
