The Waller Creek Boathouse (WCB) is a city owned facility that is managed by the Austin Rowing Club. The Austin Rowing Club offers a variety of different activities such as rowing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. The Austin Rowing Club also has several partners that operate out of the Waller Creek Boathouse to make your day unique! We’ve got something for everyone; a drink on the deck with beautiful views, a learn to row class, a timeless and picturesque drive in an antique boat, an intense fitness class overlooking the lake, a relaxing paddle through downtown, a competitive rowing team for all ages, or a group event at an unparalleled venue. The Waller Creek Boathouse is nestled against Lady Bird Lake in downtown Austin, only minutes from everything Austin has to offer. We offer many different options for your events. Whether you are planning a corporate seminar, evening social, or a wedding, Waller Creek Boathouse has something for everyone.

The upper level of Waller Creek Boathouse includes a 1,900 sq ft indoor and outdoor rental space. The capacity is 120-150, depending on setup. The downstairs rental space offers 2,700 sq ft with a flagstone terrace surrounded by grass and trees.  Indoor and outdoor restrooms are available, and the building is wheelchair accessible.
