Austin Rowing Club offers several programs for Masters Rowers (defined by USRowing as rowers ages 21 and above) at a variety of skill levels. On any given day coaching sessions are available, providing members with plenty of opportunities to get on the water no matter their schedule

Masters Rowing

For all ARC members from Club Crews to single rowers, that wish to improve their skills and share in the camaraderie of rowing with other members of all skill levels and experience – this is your home. Benefit from scheduled “group” coaching hours and a club-wide accessible training program that is designed to boost skill levels, improve fitness and bring members together

Masters Racing

ARC members  have the opportunity to engage in competitive practices that are structured and designed to improve skill and fitness levels to achieve racing success. On the water practices will also be accompanied by land workouts that all racing members will have access to.

Visiting Crews

Austin Rowing Club has hosted junior, collegiate, and masters visiting crews for over twenty years.  If your team is looking for a high quality rowing venue with year-round water access, look no further than Austin Rowing Club. 

Junior Rowing

Austin Rowing Club’s Junior Team is the oldest youth rowing program in Austin and one of the fastest teams in Texas. We offer two Junior Rowing programs: Competitive and Recreational.


Austin Rowing Club is situated at Waller Creek Boathouse and features locker rooms, a large exercise/multipurpose room and extensive boat storage capabilities all within easy access to the water.
