Junior Row to Race 2024

Austin Rowing Club would like to welcome everyone to our 2 week Jr Row to Race Camp! Starting on June 3rd, we are opening our doors to all new rowers grades 7-12th.

In the two weeks you will go from “what is rowing?” to racing! Daily sessions include small boat navigation, basic rowing technique, introduction to training and racing, and the program finishes with a short fun regatta! All enrollees must be able to swim.

Each camp is limited to 18 spots. Campers should be entering 7th grade or up in the upcoming school year in order to participate in Row to Race Camp.

Come on down this summer to learn more about the fastest growing sport in the country.

NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

Session Time: Mon-Fri 9:30 am- noon

Cost: $475

Scholarships available.

Advanced Skills Camp

Weeks offered:
June 10-14
June 17-21
June 24-28
July 8-12
July 22-26

Enrollment open to experienced rowers from the Jr Competitive program in 8th-12th grades or with coach’s approval. 

This summer ARC’s Jr Advanced Skills Camp will include water and land training. Focus for the summer is rowing in small boats. Athlete’s will develop their sweep and sculling technique and skills in addition to strength and conditioning training from ARC Jr coaches. 

Cost: $75/week. Pick the weeks that you want to attend.

Camp Sessions: Weekly from June 10th to July 26th. No camp the week of July 4th or July 15th.
