HEART OF TEXAS REGATTA
About the Heart
The Heart of Texas is held annually in early March, making it one of the first sprint regattas of the Spring. Austin Rowing Club has been host to the Heart of
Texas Regatta since 1983 when the race was primarily for visiting college crews. The event
has grown to include Masters, Open and Junior events and a seven lane, fully
buoyed 1000 meter course and state-of-the-art starting platform. Almost 700 boats
competed at the 2009 Regatta for a total of over 1,000 competitors.
2010 Regatta
The 2010 Heart of Texas will be held March 6 & 7th at Festival Beach Park along the shore of Lady Bird Lake. Registration for the 2010 event is online only at RegattaCentral.com and opens on February 1st. Deadline to enter is February 19th. Late entries will be accepted through race day at double to regular entry fee.

Volunteering
It takes approximately 100 volunteers to run the Heart of Texas Regatta. We would love to have your help. NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED. All positions come with detailed instructions and you will be working alongside our seasoned volunteers. CLICK HERE to sign up for a volunteer position. You will receive lunch and a free t-shirt. If you sign up, YOU MUST show up!
Boat Reservations & Rentals
CLICK HERE to access the boat reservation and rental form. Rental prices are on the form. We do our best to accommodate out-of-town visitors, but please understand that priority goes to ARC competitors.
2010 Lodging

2010 Vendor & Sponsor Information
